Basic Hormone Panel (Saliva)

Why This Test Matters

Your hormones are the body’s messengers - when they’re out of balance, everything feels off. PMS, mood swings, heavy or painful periods, breast tenderness, fatigue, weight fluctuations, anxiety, or sleep struggles are often linked to one key pattern: estrogen dominance.

Even if your bloodwork has come back ‘normal’, that doesn’t mean your hormones are working optimally. This panel gives you a clear picture of how your reproductive hormones are balanced, helping uncover issues that could be affecting your energy, mood, and fertility.

What the Basic Hormone Panel Shows You

    This non-invasive saliva test measures

    • Estradiol (E2) – your main estrogen hormone
    • Progesterone (Pg) – the hormone that balances estrogen and supports mood, sleep, and fertility
    • Pg/E2 ratio – one of the most important markers for hormone health
    • DHEA and Testosterone are also measured.

    Basic Hormone Panel – £179

Unlike bloods, which only give a single snapshot, saliva testing measures active, bioavailable hormones (the ones actually used by your body), is stress-free and easy to do at home, captures the real hormone picture, not just what’s floating in your bloodstream.

It’s a starting point - giving you clarity on your estrogen-progesterone balance which can cause so many symptoms as well as DHEA and Testosterone. For deeper insights, (like metabolites, or thyroid/adrenal links) DUTCH or HTMA testing may be recommended.

No this test is not suitable for that.

Usually around 2 weeks after the lab receives your sample.
